Something light

I have been eating so horribly the past week...it's bad. There have been a few salads here and there, but also pizza, beer, burgers and french toast. I made cookies last night out of boredom, and now they are just sitting on the counter, waiting to be eaten. Why do I do that to myself?

I'm thinking I need a week of detox. Here are a few delicious looking recipes, that also happen to be on the lighter side. Now I just need to get rid of those cookies...

Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry via Motherthyme

Avocado and Ricotta on Toast via A Cozy Kitchen

Blueberry Smoothie via Marie-Louise Avery

Grilled Eggplant, Halloumi and Pesto Burger, via The Healthy Haven

Mango Yogurt Parfait via Champagne mango

Asian Chicken Noodle Salad via Serious Eats

Brussel Sprouts with Maple Buttered Pecans via The Family Kitchen. I bet this would be good, even without buttering up the pecans!

  1. Great collection of recipes. I hope you have a nice detox week! I've just made the switch to vegetarian so I've had to completely change my eating habits. Haha.

    1. Yeah, haven't begun my detox week yet...it sounds so good in theory, but making it a reality is so difficult! How are you liking the switch so far? I'm not sure I could give up meat. Red meat for sure, but I love chicken!
