Peanut Butter Smoothies

I have been on a huge smoothie kick lately. They are such a yummy way to get a serving of fruit. While my absolute favorite will always be mango, adding some peanut butter to is a quick way to turn a smoothie into something more sinful tasting. Here are a few of my favorite flavor combinations when it comes to peanut butter smoothies!

I try to use plain yogurt in smoothies because it cuts down on the sugar content. I find plain yogurt to be especially good with peanut butter smoothies, because peanut butter already has quite a bit of sugar. Just keep in mind plain yogurt will add some tang, which may or may not be your thing.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie:
1/2 cup of yogurt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
3/4 cup of frozen mixed berries
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Peanut Butter Banana and Honey Smoothie:
1/2 cup of yogurt
1/3 cup of milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 large ripe banana
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Peanut Butter Banana and Chocolate Smoothie:
1/2 cup of yogurt
1/3 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 banana
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
