Chihuly Garden and Glass: Part Two

          Here are some more photos from the new Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit! The pictures below were from a gallery titled, "Mille Fiori," a huge piece inspired by Chihuly's mother's garden. This piece looked like something straight out of Willy Wonka!


       The piece below is titled, "Ikebana and Float Boat." This piece consisted of two boats, one filled with these spheres, or "floats," and the other filled with "Ikebana," which is the Japanese art of floral arrangement. Although the ikebana boat was beautiful, I loved the playfulness of the boat filled with the floats.


       Chihuly is famous for his beautiful chandeliers, so it seemed fitting that there was a room dedicated to them. In addition to the giant chandelier in the middle of the room, one hung in each corner.
