Happy Sunday all! Today I'm going to be spending the day with my mom, grandma and sister to celebrate my (late) birthday. I'm also going to be putting together a post for some popsicles. While I love a good lazy Sunday, that is not in the cards for me today and I couldn't be happier! This afternoon I'm boarding a plane to go to ICELAND! Ahhhhhh, I'm so excited. I have never been overseas before, and Iceland has always been one of my top travel destinations.

It's amazing how easy it is to travel when you simply decide to do it. You just decide to save your money, buy a plane ticket, then hop on that plane. Sure, it's a little more complicated than that...but not by much. So after you check out all these fun links, go make some travel plans! :)

Lazy Sunday Links

As some of you may know, I recently started a new job. Going from a retail job with crazy hours and no weekends, to a typical 9-5 with Saturday/Sunday off has been awesome. Sure, sometimes I wish for a Tuesday off in order to grocery shop in peace. But having nights and weekends off is pretty amazing.

Sundays are particularly special because Tommy has the day off as well. Our Sunday mornings together usually consist of sleeping until 10 or 11am, drinking coffee, making brunch and watching football while I scour the internet for awesome stuff. I cherish these lazy Sundays because after working in retail for so many years, having a Sunday off is truly something to celebrate!

All this being said, I thought it would be fun to start sharing these links I find on Sunday morning. That way you too can enjoy a lazy Sunday, filled with internet awesomeness.

• This list of 20 Essential Dishes Every Cook Should Know is pretty spot on. I still need to perfect tomato sauce, steak and stir-fry noodles. 
• Vegan recipes always bring out the skeptic in me (does it actually taste good?) but this Chocolate Brownie Batter Blizzard is vegan and looks delicious!
